Resolving Infertility

Infertility brings great heartbreak to many people. Most of us expect that we will have children as part of our life plan. We go about the business of growing up, establishing a professional identity, finding our life’s partner and then when the time is right in our lives we expect that our bodies will produce children. Depending upon the woman’s age, medical professionals suggest “trying” to conceive for 6 months to 2 years before exploring medical options. You may already know and have tried the medical protocol for infertility. Likely you have already been advised to exercise moderately, eat right, supplement your diet, get enough sleep and reduce stress. You may also be aware that infertility problems can arise from either the man or the woman, or less commonly, from their unique combination. Probably a good place to begin healing infertility is to give up blaming yourself or your partner.

Now, let’s look at some other ways to address infertility. We will look at solutions from astrology, vedic astrology, aromatherapy, feng shui, and kofutu healing.

Since blame has already been mentioned, let’s start with feng shui, because in some cases we can blame the house! Yes, that’s right. In a few situations, using compass feng shui, the house is lethal to children. If you have one of these fairly rare homes (and it depends upon the cycle it was built and its compass direction), a room in your house can cause loss of pregnancy or death to children through sickness. Clearly if you have such a house, you want to make sure that no child or pregnant woman sleeps in that room. Remedies for this problem usually require a major renovation in a later 20-year cycle. Short-term remedies include moving the bedrooms around. Other feng shui assistants to fertility include looking over the symbology of the decorations in your house and enhancing the west side of your house which is associated with descendants, but neither of those solutions will fix the first situation if it exists.

What can kofutu absent healing do for fertility? Kofutu healing can put you in alignment with the optimum physical and emotional state for your soul’s purpose. Kofutu healing is spiritual healing and thus always aligns us with our spiritual path. Kofutu healing can be directed to the health of the reproductive organs, general physical or emotional healing, healing of relationships, general healing (letting Spirit decide what is needed most), or aura healing. Depending upon your unique situation any of these could resolve the fertility problem. However, from the spiritual viewpoint, alignment with our soul’s path may not mean having children. Our path may be not to have children in this lifetime.

What can aromatherapy do to enhance fertility? Aromatherapy, the use of essential oils, is a tangible physical way to move towards health. We can treat infertility by massaging twice daily with about 3 drops of any of these oils or blends mixed with a good quality carrier oil (vegetable oil). Suggested individual essential oils are Bergamot, Chamomile, Clary Sage, Cypress, Fennel, Geranium, Melissa, Nutmeg, Sage, Thyme, Yarrow, and Ylang Ylang. You might also want to try Young Living’s blends called Dragon Time for women and Mister for men, which both help regulate the sexual hormones. If you feel that the problem is more likely to be emotional in nature, try exploring emotional healing with essential oils (many books have been written about this vast subject). Finally, for fuller sexual expression try the Young Living blend Sensation, or Sensation Massage Oil. This contains Ylang Ylang, Rose and Jasmine to enhance sexual attunement between couples.

What can astrology do to help us with fertility? Astrology can help us see our life path. Usually fertility problems are clear in an accurate horoscope set for the individual’s time, place and date of birth. Your birth chart will also indicate the most likely times for you to have children. Additionally, your chart along with your spouse’s will show the likelihood of you as a couple having children together. (Remember that sometimes the problem isn’t his or hers but a function of two individuals together.)

A Vedic Jewelry prescription uses the correspondences that the ancient Hindus discovered between the horoscope and gemstones. This again requires your accurate time, place and date of birth, as incorrect information can be harmful. Knowing the correct gemstone or gemstones for you will enhance your “earth” luck. However, this may be in any life area or a combination of life areas, and is not necessarily going to increase fertility specifically, though it will always increase health. Once you have your jewelry prescription you will want to buy a ring or pendant of the proper (never dyed or radiation treated) stone which is mounted so that it touches the skin.

I hope that this exploration of ways to resolve infertility has given you some good ideas that will be of help.
