Baby Asthma is Preventable and Curable

Childhood asthma symptoms are all you need for homeopathic treatment but alone aren't enough to make the doctor diagnose asthma. After all, the symptoms of asthma in children look very much like the common cold. To add to the confusion, different babies can have different reactions, and they can be very different from adults.

A hundred years ago asthma was considered to be no worse than the common cold. Doctors have managed to convert it to a lucrative killer disease, by prescribing drugs that the FDA has admitted make asthma worse in the long term, but offer a temporary improvent in symptoms.

You can cure asthma and bronchitis and emphysema and many other diseases by teaching your child to breathe properly.

Here are some warning signs

  • Sleeping baby breathes faster than 40/minute.
  • Infant won't feed.
  • Ribs are prominent from the effort of breathing in.
  • Chest looks too big.
  • Your baby's face becomes pale or very red.
  • Lack of breath makes him/her cry less for shorter times.
  • Nostrils flare.
  • Snorts while feeding.

Asthma and pregnancy

So much for asthma in kids. Now how could mothers bring about asthma? (I'm not letting fathers off the hook either.) Each breath you take is shared with your baby. That means that if you are gasping for breath yourself your baby is getting even less air. there is a free cure and a free emergency treatment available. We can't do anything to force doctors to tell us about cheap cures. GPs are only interested in the money that they can get from you, not in curing you. If GPs cured you you would stop giving them money. CORRECTION: I've just discovered it's not all the GPs' fault. They have been told by the medical industry that they will lose their licence to practice medicine if they tell you about the free cure for asthma.

Here is their official point of view: "Remember: Using asthma medicine during pregnancy is much safer than letting your asthma get out of control. Such asthma medicines as inhaled beta-agonists (quick relief medicines like Maxair or Proventil), cromolyn (medicines that prevent triggers from causing reactions in your lungs, like Intal), and inhaled steroids (long-term controller medicines like Flovent) are safe for pregnant women when you take them as directed by your doctor. Please don't read the instructions as it might decrease our income." Some of that is untrue.

Between 2% and 7.5% of healthy infants have significant intolerance to the protein in cow's milk. The problem is particularly common in families with strong histories of eczema, allergies, or asthma.

Babies with this intolerance can have discomfort even if they are exclusively breast fed. The difficulty arises when the mother eats or drinks cow's milk protein. The protein passes into her breast milk and from there into the baby's digestive system. Antibodies to this protein have been found in infants who are intolerant, providing evidence of the link between the mother's diet and her baby's digestive troubles. The problem disappears three weeks after the mother stops eating milk products.

Prevention of asthma in toddlers

Now here is where you are going to have to struggle through lies to find the truth. I was amazed at how many sites on the web still advise you to wrap the baby in cotton wool and shelter it from dust mites...bacteria... pets... dirt... and anything else in real life. It has been shown that that attitude is responsible for the increase in asthma.

But you can cure or prevent asthma in anyone old enough (about 3 years) to understand the instructions.

GPs responsible for asthma in kids

You as parents may be less to blame for your child's asthma than your GPs. GPs cause a lot of the trouble in their endless attempts to sell you more drugs. Tests show that antibiotics destroy the correct activity in a child's intestine. This leads to impaired immune systems and asthma.

Abusing prescription drugs is as common as, or maybe even more common than, street drug use - and GPs are often to blame. your child could die from a prescription drug that has helped make your GPs wealthy.

Your children's immune system may be so weakend by steroid drugs prescribed by your GPs that they catch every disease that is going around.

Danger in the showers. When chlorine vaporizes it combines with other airborne particles and forms gaseous chloroform which has been shown to encourage breathing problems such as asthma. The U.S. EPA states that "Due to chlorine and showering, there is an elevated level of chloroform gas in virtually every home in America...". Most researchers agree that chlorine in water encourages asthma but surprisingly the greatest effect seems to come from chlorine in showers.

Sing Your Cares Away

Maldon & South Chelmsford Primary Care Trust has started a project to improve the quality of life of local children with asthma.

"Asthma is a serious condition for many youngsters," says Sarah Southerby, the PCT's healthy living co-ordinator. "The 'Huff and Puff' project holds innovative classes using song and art as mediums for helping children to control their breathing."

The workshops include simple songs, rhythms and breathing techniques, to teach the children not to panic when they suffer shortness of breath.
